Social Engagement

Why we are committed to our region

For us, social commitment is more than a good principle – it is part of our responsibility towards the local community in which we live and work. That is why we specifically support initiatives in Iserlohn that bring people together, promote physical activity, and enrich community life.

Our commitment is to a vibrant, strong region – today and in the future.

Iserlohn Roosters

Sport, excitement, speed – with the Iserlohn Roosters, we are involved in top-level sports and support a team that stands for dynamism, team spirit, and enthusiasm. As a long-standing sponsorship partner, we repeatedly experience how this “fastest team sport in the world” connects people and creates emotions – far beyond the playing field.

Many of our business partners have already been captivated by the fascination of this sport at the ice rink in Seilersee. The IEC is a beacon for the city of Iserlohn and has made it known far beyond the region.

Genuss PUR

Having great ideas is good. To put them into practice is even better. However, without financial resources, an idea remains a mere wish. With “Genuss PUR” it’s different: Together with many other local companies, we ensure that this high-quality culinary event becomes a reality again, thus continuing to revitalize Iserlohn’s city center. Because strong ideas deserve strong support.

Iserlohner Schleddenhofer SV

Furthermore, the promotion of young talent and grassroots sports is a special concern for us. With almost 1,800 members, the Iserlohner Schleddenhofer Schwimmverein (ISSV) is one of the largest swimming clubs in North Rhine-Westphalia and looks back on a history of over 100 years. This traditional Iserlohn club was founded in 1895. From May to August, bathers and club members find relaxation, physical activity, and fun in the continuously approximately 24-degree warm water. The open-air swimming pool is located in the beautiful Seilersee recreational area, on the property acquired by the ISSV in 1905.

In addition to competitive swimming, the ISSV is particularly committed to teaching primary school children how to swim, as fewer and fewer children can swim when they start school. This commitment is invaluable in today’s world.
