Sustainability is not understood here as an add-on, but as an integral component of value creation. At the heart of this competence is the consistent implementation of the circular economy.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-00413b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"00413b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The company strategically uses over 90% recycled materials as well as residues from its customers&#8217; production processes. These are processed, recycled, and returned to the production process. This creates a closed material loop that conserves resources and reduces waste \u2013 a fundamental principle of modern industrial sustainability. This significantly reduces CO\u2082 emissions.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3fe118d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3fe118d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>With our extensive experience in this field, we are part of a funded research project called <a href=\"https:\/\/twince.wineme.wiwi.uni-siegen.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;TwinCE&#8221;<\/a> together with the University of Siegen. The central objective of the research project is to consolidate various information sources through the development of a software platform aimed at ensuring the circular use of non-ferrous metals across the entire value chain. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-856fb2f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"856fb2f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The intended innovation thus involves linking a methodological\/organizational\/regulatory framework with technical implementation and a data-based digital twin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-61c987a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"61c987a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Another building block of Green Competence lies in energy-efficient production. The waste heat generated during metal melting is strategically reused, for example for heating buildings or providing hot water. This makes it possible to minimize energy losses while simultaneously reducing CO\u2082 emissions. This is complemented by modern filtration and plant technology that reduces emissions and ensures environmentally compatible operations.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7b284dd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7b284dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>At Franz Hillebrand, Green Competence also means continuous monitoring and improvement. Regular environmental audits and monitored production processes ensure that environmental standards are maintained and further developed.
